Bryan is the Senior Extension Associate for the Cultivate Kentucky Partnership, which is housed at the Food Connection. The Cultivate Kentucky Partnership launched 6.5 years ago with Bryan developing and leading the on-farm technical assistance program. Bryan helps Kentucky produce farmers navigate entry to wholesale market channels by finding cost-effective solutions to food safety and quality assurance demands. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Kentucky, and an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of Virginia. He is currently finishing his master's in Integrated Plant and Soil Science.

Bryan's unique experience in both the food service and agriculture world has led him to promote the need for practicality, organization, and efficiency on produce farms. In the 6.5 years Bryan has worked with growers he has assisted 41 individual farms and 5 packing facilities pass rigorous third-party audits. Farms that have worked with Bryan have a 100% success rate at passing these audits the first time.
