Affiliates of The Food Connection
The Food Connection serves farmers, food producers, students, and consumers by cultivating creative strategies and partnerships to support a vibrant, healthy, and equitable local food economy. On- and off-campus, we support innovative and interdisciplinary instruction and research, and deliver high-impact services and programs related to local food systems development. Affiliates of The Food Connection are a community of scholars and practitioners from across the University, conducting scholarship and applied work, teaching courses, and supporting development of equitable and sustainable food systems. We welcome and support connecting, collaborating, and engagement across the breadth of food systems topics.
Do you research, study, teach, or work in food systems? We welcome those who are engaged in food and farming systems work to join as an affiliate of The Food Connection. Benefits of being an Affiliate of The Food Connection include:
- Connecting with others working and teaching in a variety of food systems areas, from on-campus, to throughout the commonwealth, and internationally
- Opportunities to participate in events and conferences organized and sponsored by The Food Connection
- Sharing and publicizing your food and agriculture-systems courses, events, and other opportunities
- You are invited to share your TFC Affiliate status on CVs, websites and in the work that you do
