The heart of our center is our Learning Kitchen, a state of the art kitchen venue designed to provide a welcoming environment for everyone interested in learning about locally sourced, seasonal foods and how to enjoy them.

At our Learning Kitchen, Chef Tanya Whitehouse leads a variety of educational experiences ranging from guest lectures, specialty food demonstrations, and fully hands-on culinary classes that meet learners where they are with skill level and comfort in the kitchen. We host every one from 4-H clubs to master chefs, and all our welcome at our table.

We work with on-campus stakeholders to develop programing that meets their specific interests and educational goals while also integrating our center’s mission to promote engagement with Kentucky’s agricultural and food systems.

We offer a variety of public and private classes, and the best way to stay up to date on what’s cooking in our kitchen is to follow us through our newsletter and on social media: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
