During the academic year, we gather as a community once and month to enjoy a locally-sourced breakfast, and learn from a featured guest about their work in farming, food, and food systems.

Our longest standing and perhaps most beloved program, First Friday Breakfasts are a time to come together and learn about the wide variety of exciting and innovative food systems work happening across our state. We enjoy casual talks by family farmers, local chefs, cooperative extension programs, and community based organizations. Topics cover everything from farm to table, and some unexpected detours in between.

Everyone is welcome to our First Friday Family: young and old, on- and off-campus. You’re sure to see old friend, make new connections, and take how new ideas. All that’s asked is that you bring a hungry stomach and a curious mind.

Unless otherwise indicated in the schedule,

Location: E.S. Good Barn

Doors open at 7:30 AM, and our talks from from 8-9 AM

Parking: In the Good Barn Lot, or scratch-off passes available for off-campus guests.

All First Friday events are free and open to the public. No RSVP needed.
