pico de gallo


What You'll Need:

  • 2 – 2½ cups grape tomatoes, sliced in halves or quarters based on size
  • ½ cup onion, diced
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ bell pepper, diced
  • ¼ - ½ cup fresh cilantro, minced
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper, minced
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons lime juice, to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

Combine tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapeno in a bowl. Season with salt and add lime juice to taste. Pico de gallo is best eaten fresh, within 12 hours of making it.
